I had been unhealthy for most of my life. I never went to the gym and had a horrible diet. I was growing tired of being tired and disappointed in the way my body looked. When I hit 149 lbs,it was time to do something. I started running with motivation from a friend and I never stopped. I got down to about 140 lbs, but it took me 3 years. Even though I was running, I hadn't changed my diet and I never really knew what to do with weights at the gym. I was also getting really bad headaches after my long runs and could never figure out what it was from. I met Emily through a friend of mine and she has truly changed my life! With her meal plan and exercise program, I have gotten down to 121.5 lbs.
My running has improved tremendously to top it off! Plus my headaches have gone away with the change in my diet. I have run 9 half marathons and 2 full marathons. I was able to take off 16 minutes from my previous best on my last half marathon after training with Emily. Her interval training has also helped me with my speed work running workouts. I went from running a quarter mile in 2 minutes and 17 seconds to 1 minute and 46 seconds. I am currently training for another full marathon and I can't wait to see what my new time will be.
I feel so much better and love the way I look now. Emily is inspiring, motivating, and very supportive. She believes in me which makes me believe in myself. I couldn't have done it without you Emily!
